2022 Spring Season Information

·        EXISTING PLAYERS - When completing the registration for your child, please sign up for the next division for your player if you want them to move forward or for the same division that they played in for 2021 if you want them to repeat the same division.

    • AA-Majors – Players signing up for these division will be required to go to assessments. After assessments players may be moved to another division.
    • IF YOU HAVE MOVED, CHANGED PHONE CARRIERS OR NUMBERS, YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE YOUR PROFILE

·        NEW PLAYERS (NOT REGISTERED IN 2021) - Please follow the registration steps listed below. You will select the "2021 NEW PLAYER" registration. During the registration please note your players requested division. Please note that the "cost" of the registration will not appear on the initial registration but will be added to the registration once payment is due. Registrations costs are listed below.


STEP BY STEP REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

REGISTRATION: 1 - 2 - 3

·        Returning families: review or scroll down to select appropriate division

·        New families: registration is completed in 3 steps:

1.     Establish family profile: parents/guardians must be in our system first. You will be asked to provide general information about yourself/spouse. This page is identified as Guardian Information. At the bottom of profile page is an option to 'clone' for a second parent. This is a one-time process - you will not have to repeat this step for future registrations.

2.     Register each player: each player is registered individually. Page will read Participant Information. As with the Guardian registration, you will only be required to enter your child's information once - it will be retained for all future registrations.

3.     Payment: You must make the payment for registration within 2 days of the registration or the registration will be deleted.

Important:

·        Under no circumstances should you change the age of your child to gain eligibility to another division.  If you believe your child should be in a different division from what your child’s age will allow, please contact us at  

·        If you sign up for a division and your child did not complete the previous division they will be moved back down unless you have submitted a formal request to move the player. Requests do not guarantee that your child will be allowed to play in requested division but it will be evaluated by the board. Please submit request to  

·        When prompted, please select ROSTER for your personal information, not PRIVATE. Choosing PRIVATE means that only the Webmaster/President will see your information. Not your Coach. 

·        New players will be required to show proof of age during the season to a WYB Board Member

·        When you complete a registration, our website will show you the registration details.  If you do not see this confirmation page, you DID NOT register your child.  Please click on the Registration link and try again


 

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

·        Online Registration:  October 15, 2021 – January 1, 2022

Early Bird Registration: Ends December 1st

·        Wait List:  A wait list will be established if the division is full that you are seeking or if we do not receive enough volunteer coaches to meet demands. If this happens, you will know immediately when you attempt to register. You should continue the registration process so that should we receive more volunteers, we will accept Wait Listed players by their registration date.

·        Fees cover costs of charter, insurance, jersey, hat, pictures, and field use fees.

*Minor AAA & Majors cost includes a $25.00 volunteer fee. If you volunteer during the season, the $25.00 will be reimbursed to you.

Should your child not assess or draft into a division that cost more fees, you will be reimbursed the difference.

NOTEIndividual trophies are NOT included, except for end of season Division Tournament in Minor AA, AAA and Majors

 


 

PAYMENT  

Payment required at time of registration. You will have 2 days to complete registration or system will automatically cancel and you will have to start again.

E*Check/Debit/Credit are accepted methods of online payment. (We do not accept American Express or Discover cards).

Those seeking Financial Assistance must complete form online or come to Walk-In Registration.

We no longer offer full scholarships but based on need, can make accommodations. The league President or Vice President will review your request in the strictest of confidence. If approved, you will receive an email and will be asked how you wish to fulfill your service obligation to League.

If you previously received financial assistance but did not fulfill your volunteer service hours, your request may be denied

*It is more important that your child assess with their division then it is for them to assess on the day of their last name

**Players should arrive 30 minutes prior to their assessment time to warm up and check in**

You may attend another date/time if you have conflicts but please email the league to let us know prior to the date/time of the assessment that your child should be assessing.


 

2022 Coach Application

Adults interested in coaching will need to complete a few additional questions.

Once your application is accepted and approved by the board you will receive information on the following:

1)   All coaches will be required to complete a background check prior to the start of the baseball season.

2)   All coaches will be required to complete an Abuse Prevention Training

2)   Any one coaching in Minor A or higher will be required to complete the Cal Ripken Coaching Certification.

3)   All coaches will be required to attend the mandatory coaches meeting/training that will be held in February.

*Background checks are good for 2 years

**Abuse Prevention is good fo 2 years

***Cal Ripken Coaching Certificate is good forever, unless Cal Ripken updates the requirement
