Update 1/22/11

Most of you may have read in the newspaper or on our website that we have joined with Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa to form a new Sonoma County-wide league, North Bay Babe Ruth.  Our decision was necessary in order to save Santa Rosa from total collapse and still meet our desire to offer a viable program to our 13-15 year olds.

What this means is that Windsor Baseball will no longer have any direct leadership, connection or control of this new league. It will operate independently of us. Each family must now register with NBBR (North Bay Babe Ruth).  Rohnert Park will act as the Executive Board.

The fee for the entire season is $170.00, $20 less than last year!  This fee is good whether you decide to play in one session or both; however, high school baseball players may not play in the first session.

HERE - If you want to register online and pay by credit card. According to Rohnert Park, payment is due immediately.

Click HERE - If you wish to pay by cash/check; you may fill in form online or download, mail to the PO Box or drop off next Sat. 1/29 at T&B Sports between 10 am - 3 pm.

NOTE: Players who played in Windsor last year DO NOT need to provide proof of age; those who did not will need to bring to walk in registration.

It is our hope that you will find success in this new league.  We will be seeing you since many of your games will be played at Keiser.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know and I will pass them on to the new President, Mike Harris.  We are both in agreement to make this an easy transition.

Good luck,

Stay tuned for new developments for the Babe Ruth division.  A new league is being established that will combine Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa and Windsor into one huge league divided into a North and South division.

This new league is a result of the declining enrollement sustained in Santa Rosa and to avoid the total collapse of this long running program.  Windsor and Rohnert Park have voted to join with Santa Rosa so we can continue to offer baseball to our local players ages 13 - 15.

The specific details of assessments, team formations, etc will be discussed at an emergency meeting planned for next week.
