AGE CHART

Age Chart

Spring Divisions
Rookie - (Ages 5-6)
Provides basic fundamentals of the game and introduces players to the concept of team play. This is a non-competitive, Coach Pitch level. No score is kept.
Minor A - (Ages 6-7)
Players upgrade from coach pitch to a pitching machine. Minor A provides players a better understanding and concept of the game. Basic skills are refined and stressed and kids generally play multiple positions. 6 year olds are eligible to play if they have played one year of Rookie ball.
AA - (Ages 8-9)
Live pitching is introduced and kids move up on field size. Players become more familiar with new positions and plays are now being made on a consistent basis.
AAA - (Ages 9-12)
Kids move up to a larger field. Skill level increases and players are mixed with a variety of age levels and abilities. Players are allowed to steal and lead off. Strategy is now being introduced.
Majors - (Ages 10-12)
Advance play. Skill level is much higher than that of AAA. Play is faster and pitching becomes more consistent and accurate. Strategy becomes an integral part of the game.
