CAL RIPKEN BASEBALL

INTRODUCTION

Cal Ripken Baseball is designed for players ages 5-12.  We have structured the league into 5 levels which are used to place players in the age and skill appropriate level so that they can play with their peers and find success.
  
Our goal is that at the end of the season every player finishes play with a feeling of accomplishment.

ASSESSMENT and TEAM PLACEMENT:

Assessment is used to rate players so that each level and each team has parity of talent. Players ages 5-7 are not required to attend assessment.  8 year olds are not required but are encouraged to attend.

Players 9 - 12 are required to attend at least one assessment date.

New teams are formed each year in all levels by a Committee comprised of the VP, Player Agent, Director of Player Development and all Player Reps.

Consideration will be made to keep Managers/Coaches together who request it, however, there is no guarantee, especially in the Minor AAA and Majors.
